Following the global success of the English podcast, Professor Cai launched the How to Read Chinese Poetry video series. The video series includes Mandarin, Cantonese, and English version. The aim is to provide in-depth interpretations of classical poetry in the both East and West. This series covers various aspects including artistic techniques, poetic emotions, and historical contexts, provide a visual feast a delightful aesthetic experience for the audience.
As of February 2025, the video series has released two series: Artistic Vision of Tang Poetry, and Sounds of Tang Poetry, a total of 42 episodes. The video sereis accumulated more than 2.5 million views across major platforms such as Bilibili, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin.
